DMCA Copyright Policy

Effective July 7, 2026.

Reporting copyright infringement

OpenCaddie respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that material available on opencaddie.ai infringes a copyright you own or control, you may notify our designated agent listed below. Notices must comply with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) and include the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the owner (or someone authorized to act on the owner's behalf) of an exclusive copyright that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with information sufficient to permit us to locate the material on opencaddie.ai (URL is most useful).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you (mailing address, telephone number, and email address if available).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Warning: Under Section 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes your copyright, we suggest you contact an attorney before submitting a notice.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed from opencaddie.ai pursuant to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the designated agent. The counter-notification must comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) and include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside of the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction in the judicial district where OpenCaddie LLC may be found).
  5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification, or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original notifier files an action seeking a court order against you.

Repeat infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, OpenCaddie has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to opencaddie.ai or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
